    Dr Oscar Buse

    BDSc, DDS (Peru)

    Oscar studied Dentistry in Lima, Peru and graduated in 2001 from San Martin de Porres University. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree upon graduation, Oscar studied a full time three-month course to obtain his professional degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

    Oscar worked in his own dental practice in Lima since graduation and in 2005, he completed a postgraduate course in Oral Implants at the College of Dentistry of Peru under the National School of Professional Development program. Since then he introduced dental Implants to his daily practice.

    In 2011, Oscar finally decided to sell his practice and decided to move to Australia. He worked as a part-time and casual Dental Assistant for countless dental practices.

    Since then, Oscar started working straight away in many practices across Victoria and now he is readily back to bring all of his knowledge learnt from both worlds into Parkwood Green Dental where we will introduce one of the best Implant systems known Internationally, BioHorizons.

    Dr Alice Whang

    BDSc (Hons Melbourne)

    Dr Alice obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne. During her studies, she was awarded Australian Dental Association (Vic. Branch) Prize for Best Student (2013), John lliffe Scholarship (top student prize in BDSc 5), Dean's Honours List (2010, 2012, 2013) and Australian Dental Research Foundation Undergraduate Research Grant (2011).

    Alice's passion for dentistry drives her to provide quality treatments that are tailored to her patient's individual needs. She has a special interest in cosmetic, restorative and children's dentistry and also believes in using gentle approach to help make dental treatments a stress-free experience.

    As a trained and certified member of the Australasian Academy of the Dento-Facial Aesthetics (, Dr Alice is able to provide dento-facial injectables and dermal fillers for her patients. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and regularly attends up-to-date courses and conferences.

    Outside of dentistry, Alice enjoys photography and painting.

    Dr Conor Flanagan

    BDS (University of Glasgow)

    Originally from Co. Down in Northern Ireland, Conor attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Glasgow. Since graduating, he has spent his time practicing in a private practice in Glasgow. After enjoying eight years in Glasgow, gaining vast knowledge and experience, he decided to embark on a new challenge and relocate to Melbourne.

    Dr Flanagan has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and he enjoys keeping up to with the latest advances in dental technology.

    He enjoys taking clinical photographs to allow his patients to visualize the improvements in their dentition on completion of treatment.

    He strives to deliver the highest standard of dental care to his patients and believes that being a reflective practitioner whilst engaging in continuing professional development are key to achieving this.

    Dr Flanagan provides cosmetic braces and dental implants as a permanent solutions to restoring your smile.

    Outside of dentistry, Conor has many other interests; football, scuba diving, surfing, cooking and travelling. In recent years, he has visited Russia, North America, South East Asia and Tanzania.

    Dr Neil Pepa

    BDS (University of Sydney), DMD (CEU, Philippines)

    Neil obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University (CEU) in 1998. During this time there, he was actively involved in several civic actions to help educate the local and marginalised communities about the importance of dental health and offer free treatments to those who are less fortunate. He eventually moved to Sydney upon which he acquired his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004.

    Since then, Neil has practiced general dentistry across various clinics in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, and he has developed skills and strategies to treat various kinds of problems relating to teeth. He values the importance of people’s awareness regarding their oral health – he doesn’t only treat the issues, he provides patients with ways to take care of their teeth.

    Neil has a kind and caring nature and has often been referred to as a “gentle giant” by his patients and colleagues. He loves working with children and has an interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. You can count on Neil to be honest, transparent and readily available to offer his patients practical and sound dental advice.

    When he’s not looking at teeth, Neil loves to go for a drive and take his SLR camera to take photos. He also keeps active by cycling, playing basketball. He unwinds with his family and friends by watching movies and playing videogames and trying out different restaurants.

    Dr Melissa Jong

    DDS, BBiomed (Melb)

    Dr Melissa graduated from the University of Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Biomedicine before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery. During her time at the Melbourne Dental School she was awarded the Dean’s Honours List and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons academic prizes. Melissa has had the privilege of serving communities in private and public clinics across Victoria.

    With a gentle chairside manner, Melissa makes it her priority to provide the highest quality of treatment within a friendly and calm environment. She frequently attends continuing education courses to ensure her patients receive the most up to date care. Melissa enjoys all aspects of dentistry and would one day like to volunteer her skills overseas.

    When she’s not working, Melissa can be found spending time with her family and friends, watching the latest movies at the cinemas or exploring new places to eat around Melbourne.
